Mr. Kimble

Being a teacher has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life, and I feel incredibly grateful to be beginning my sixth year in education. This year is especially exciting because I am returning for my second year teaching kindergarten at Lincoln School of Early Learning in Coquille. I absolutely love working with our youngest learners and feel lucky to spend each day watching them grow, discover new things, and find their own confidence as students. As a proud native of North Bend, Oregon, being part of a close-knit community has always been important to me, and I am thankful to now call Coquille an important part of my teaching journey.

There is something incredibly special about teaching kindergarten. I love being there for so many of my students' first experiences at school. This ranges from making new friends to learning classroom routines to discovering something new and realizing, “I can do this!”. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels welcomed, supported, and excited to come to school each day
When I'm not in the classroom, I also love being on stage! I am a member of the Olio cast at the Sawdust Theatre in Coquille and have loved getting back into performing. Being part of the Sawdust Theatre has been such a fun way to reconnect with something I have always enjoyed and to be part of a wonderful Coquille tradition. I am excited to continue sharing my love of singing, performing, and being on stage with the community.

Outside of the classroom, my passion is competing in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and I enjoy traveling to tournaments during my summer breaks. And, of course, no introduction would be complete without mentioning my beloved Chihuahua, Keela, whose endless excitement makes coming home one of the best parts of my day.
