Mr. Martin

Hello, my name is Forest Martin. I have been a teacher in Coquille for 22 years and enjoy every minute of it. I will be teaching Kindergarten here at Lincoln this year and absolutely love it.

My background is science, where I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I then got a degree in teaching and started in Arizona, where I was raised. I moved to Coquille in 2004 and have been teaching here ever since.

My passions and hobbies include; surfing, mountain biking, and snowboarding. This is a great part of the world to do all three. I really enjoy being outside.

I live in Dora, Oregon. There I have two great dogs, four cats, two chickens, and a lot of koi fish. I really think this is the best place to live in the whole world.

I love teaching because it is never boring. Each day brings something new. Kids always amaze me in how they perceive the world, and they say some of the most wonderful things.
